Our retreat venue

Godshill Park Farm is a luxurious farmhouse nestled beneath the downs, surrounded by animals and wildlife, and within walking distance of a 360 degree seascape of the stunning island. You’ll enjoy some good, locally sourced food, a warm cosy environment, honest fresh air and, if a little chilly, the yoga practised in an oak panelled hall with a log burning fire as centrepiece. Heaven! Set in this area of outstanding natural beauty, the farm is the perfect venue to unwind, relax and reconnect with your quieter nature.

What does a typical Peaceful Heart retreat weekend look like?

The weekend retreat starts on a Friday afternoon with a warm welcome with tea and homemade cake. The best way to start a retreat! After settling in, enjoy an early evening yoga practice before your vegan/vegetarian evening meal.

The quietness of the farm provides a perfect space to relax and unwind. With nature aplenty you’ll feel an immediate sense of peace. Farm animals include adorable Lamas and Alpacas, geese and chickens, sheep and the cutest Shetland ponies…not to mention the indigenous red squirrels.

Saturday morning begins with yoga stretch and Mindfulness prior to midmorning hearty brunch. Free time follows with the opportunity to explore the area. A walk up onto the downs and wild south-west beaches is often requested in the afternoon with a second yoga class in the early evening. Saturday’s evening meal is either at the farm or in the village at an award winning pub.

Sunday morning mirrors Saturday with a leisurely departure mid afternoon.

Private treatments, massage and facials, can be provided, with an additional cost, by a local therapist to complement your well-being experience.

Transport to the Isle of Wight and Godshill Park Farm

The Isle of Wight can only be accessed by passenger and car ferries: Red Funnel from Southampton and East Cowes or Wightlink between Portsmouth and Fishbourne and Lymington and Yarmouth. There’s also the Catamaran between Portsmouth and Ryde and Hovercraft between Southsea and Ryde. Ferry discounts are available through the hotel. Transport between the farm from the passenger ferries  can be arranged. Travel information will be provided upon application.
