I see hearts!
It’s true. I have a library of random photos. The shape of a leaf, a puddle or the way the foam has settled on a cappuccino.
They are like little angelic messages for me, reminding me of the magnitude of life, our existence and the never ending pursuit of our purpose.
When I see one I often think of my late father and that then inspires me to think of my family and friends. They make me smile. I feel warm inside and hopeful.
It’s been a tough year so far for a few of my closest friends and I marvel at their strength and endurance. Sometimes the magnitude of these life challenges are just too overwhelming to decipher or make sense of. The more we think, the more we complicate.
This morning, I felt helpless and decided to cook. I began contemplating life and in particular the pain humans can endure.
Chopping onions, tears rolling from my eyes, I look down and there it is….
