'Yoga4mums was inspired by Cathy Underwood-Radan who uses innovative methods to deliver a range of yoga programmes which stand out from the competition. The business has a strong ethical approach and social responsibility - working, not just with stressed out mums struggling to cope with the ever increasing demands on their time, but also supporting charities and working with individuals with learning difficulties. So far it has raised over £4,000 for local schools, charities and community projects.
 
Alongside community classes and workshops Cathy has successfully secured contracts to run yoga classes in nurseries, primary schools and mental health care centres. She is also now developing an exciting online yoga service and hopes to launch two yoga DVD’s in the new year. Yoga4mums has received a huge amount of positive publicity and Cathy’s growth plans exhibit an innovative and pro-active approach to marketing which will enable the business to retain its competitive edge.'

'The Barclays Innovative Business of the Year Award goes to a truly inspirational lady. She is not only an entrepreneur, actress, wife and mother but she has a heart of gold. Her creation of the yoga donation class has helped connect families and nurture community spirit whilst suppporting and raising money for a worthy cause. Her charity work has recently raised £1,800 for The TreeHouse Charity, supporting autistic children and their families, and The Isabel Hospice.

This is a clear example how a business can encourage mums to feel better about themselves, using innovative yoga classes to help relax the mind, strengthen the body and reduce every day stress whilst fund raising for charitable causes.
